Pendants of Resistance
Pendants are divided into two categories.
Resistance to an element and
Resistance to a spell skip perk
Pendants of Resistance to an Element give your wizard a fixed value of resistance against an element.
The fixed resistance values are:
-4 (low)
-5 (medium)
-6 (high)
If you equip a Pendant of Thunder Resistance -5 (medium) to your wizard, this item gives your wizard a resistance of 5 to the Thunder element. In other words, if your wizard is hit by the Thunder element (and after the fighting algorithm accounts for any resistance and weakness) a modifier of -5 is applied. This means if your wizard would take 25 damage from a Thunder element wizard, your wizard would only take 20 damage with this Pendant equipped.
Pendants of Resistance to a Skip Perk give your wizard a 75% - 90% chance to avoid an opposing wizard using a spell with a skip turn perk. If your wizard is equipped with a Perk Pendant and is about to be affected by a spell with a skip perk, there is a 75% - 90% the perk will not affect your wizard.
These Pendants are only effective against spells that have a skip turn perk and include:
Blind
Confuse
Fear 2
Freeze
Paralyze 2
Poison 3
Shock
